Jorge, you know I enjoy your posts, But this time your highway is a one-way street to nowhere, at least on my system. You start with shift-tab from an open message. When I press shift tab from an open message, I go back to the subject line. Also, before pressing j, I press the applications key. But pressing j after the applications key is better than messing around with up and down arrows, which is what I wrote before.

Jorge, this doesn't work for me in Outlook 2010 and Win7. I doubt the Operating system makes a difference. Here's what I do. Place focus in the tree view next to the message whose sender I want to block, etc. Then I press the applications key and arrow up two or three times. At "Junk," I press enter, then arrow up or down through the options.
