Pure speculation because I use Outlook, but does copying the file into the email work? In Outlook, place focus next to the filename, press control-c for copy, shift focus to the message field of your email message, then press control-v. Shift-tab to find out if the file appears in the attachments list.

Hello;
I'm just taking a wild guess here!
Select the "New" button in Yahoo Mail to compose a new message. Then select the "Attach Files" button I assume it's right under the subject line. Most likely you could use the tab-key, Instead of immediately bringing you to your documents, Yahoo will present you with several "Choose File" buttons.

Isn't it possible to have your yahoo messages come into your email client?
I believe you use Windows live mail?

WLM-Yahoo-mail
Although many people access Yahoo Mail using a web browser there are also many who prefer to use a desktop email client like Windows Live mail.

Because Yahoo Mail allows access using the standard protocols POP3 and IMAP4, you can access your Yahoo Email using most desktop clients like Windows live mail.

Note: the same procedure is applicable to other POP3/IMAP4 clients like outlook express,outlook etc

Using POP3 or IMAP4 ?

IMAP4 is the preferred choice because it leaves email on the Yahoo mail server which means that they can be accessed by other devices e.g. your mobile phone.
