Try putting the cursor on the Play button, then pressing Insert-Spacebar and
then S to silence Jaws, then turn on the recorder and press enter on the
play button; finally, press Insert-Spacebar and S to have Jaws speak again.

I want to record music tracks from streaming music sites, I’m using GoldWave
and I have stereo mix enabled. the problem is when I hold the control key
down to halt jaws from speaking that doesn’t do a good job of stopping jaws
from speaking.so I get jaws speech at the beginning of the song!
