1, open firefox, 2, alt+t=tools, O=options, 3, now up-arrow until you hear; Listbox, press enter, 4, now down-arrow until you hear; Advance, 5, now tab and find the checkbox which you want to uncheck, Hope this helps. I just tried it with FF 52 and Jaws 16 and I could only access settings in the General section. I know that this was not the case with earlier versions of FF. I then shutdown Jaws and fired up NVDA--I was able to get to all settings, including the hardware acceleration setting. So, you might want to give NVDA a try, in order to get that setting changed.
