I can not even test it. I made the change as you suggested. I suppose that
it did mute the adds. The bigger problem is that it continually reads photo
and a headline link. It goes through every link when I try to go to a story
it starts over. I am using the latest jaws 18 with a win 7 machine.
I was hoping to get away from I.E.

Lenny,
'Ignore Inline Frames' checkbox is by default not checked. Check it. I think
you may find it gets rid of the obstruction. You'll find the setting in JAWS
| Default All Applications | Settings Center | Web / HTML | PDF's | Headings
and Frames (right-arrow to open this Headings and Frames, and arrow down).
(Save when closing Settings Center.) If you want to, you can undo the change
by unchecking that checkbox. (Save when closing Settings Center.)

In I.E. the in line adds are turned off. They are not in crome or firefox. I
do not remember where I found that setting for I.E.
thanks for your help
