first i am a new user as of 2 days ago. grin. so i don't know where everything
is or what they do.
i tried this but it hasn't worked. that is if i was in the right place, in the
utility menu.
i muted the function page up down,home and saved these changes. and reloaded
jaws 18. but these keys still speak. while on the windows 7 desktop.

Yes, just mute the key you want silenced.

is there an option to turn off the speaking of the function and control keys
or what ever they are called?
like when it says escape, alt f4, enter , page up or down etc. without
turning off the rest of the keys?
