Okay, never heard of this program. I still think you can call FS and ask
them to accelerate the process.

Unlock key? Just call FS to get it, if you have purchased a copy.

Didn't you just tell us that you were using a demo version of JAWS?

i am finding serious problems with jaws over window eyes.
at least with window eyes i can make changes to the settings running as a
standard user.
jaws will not. thats the problem.
the settings go through the mosion of makeing changes to the keyboard labels
and show they have been saved. but they are not. no changes are acted upon
when
i press the keys i muted. even after rebooting the computer and jaws 18.
i tried running jaws as administrator in the desktop icon. but when it runes
both jaws and the ease of access center also runs. the muted keys still
speak.

Hi Net bat,

From: Mike B
Try the following:
1. Open the Settings Center with, Insert + 6 on the number row, & press,
Control, Shift + D, to open Settings Center Default All Applications.
2. Arrow down to, Keyboard, & press right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to, Manage Key Labels...., & press the spacebar to open.
Note: Do not press enter, pressing enter will close the Settings Center.
4. After pressing the spacebar you will be in a list of keys. Arrow down to
the key you want to mute, & Tab 1 time to the, Toggle Mute Button, & press
the spacebar to mute. You'll hear Jaws announce, for example the Tab key,
Tab Tab mute.
5. Tab to, Okay, press the spacebar, tab to, Apply, press the spacebar, tab
to, Okay, & press enter to save your change & close the Settings Center.
Take care.
Mike

is there an option to turn off the speaking of the function and control keys
or what ever they are called?
like when it says escape, alt f4, enter , page up or down etc. without
turning off the rest of the keys?
