That being said, the detect language option works well with Word. For example, I'll be typing a story in English but need to quote a Spanish-speaking character. The moment I type the Spanish phrase into the doc and read it back, JAWS switches from Englis to Spanish, then back to English after the Spanish phrase has been read. Works great...but the L.A. Spanish reads too fast for my North American ears. LOL

Hello All

Have actually figured it out. You must make sure that detect language option is not checked before switching to another language with Control+Windows +L language switching command.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Is it possible in Jaws

Hello All

Is it possible to switch to another language voice profile , say from English to Spanish and back again, when running a program like Word?

Thanks, Phil
