Press Insert+J, arrow up to Help, and press Enter. Then arrow up to Startup
Wizard and press enter. You will find options for starting JAWS. You can
choose Never to have JAWS not start automatically. Control+Alt+J is a good
hot key, but you can use any hot key you like. Keep in mind that you must
set the hot key for the JAWS icon by using Windows properties. Also, if you
update your JAWS version or uninstall and reinstall for any reason, you must
set up the hot key again for the new icon.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] starting jaws manually
i'm finally going to install jaws before f s o takes away my window eyes
migration deal. however, i don't want jaws to load at startup, i just
want to use it manually. when i first install jaws, i will set windows
to not load at the log in screen or at windows startup, because i know
jaws will load automatically, where do i go to stop jaws from loading at
startup, is ctrl alt j a good hot key to use to start jaws manually?
