When I had my fax program it is done strictly through e-mail, with the fax
being an attachment.

Where is the person getting the fax though, are you just sending it to their
e-mail? How does that work?

Hello Judy and all:

I use Efax to send and receive faxes, much better than what I did before,
having a fax machine and fax land line, because the fax line cost me $10 per
month and I had to worry about the machine, paper, etc, plus I had to print
any incoming fax, then scan it with Open Book.

Efax gives me my own fax number and costs me I think $27 a quarter, then I
can esily send faxes as email attachments with the email body as fax cover
sheet, also receive them as PDF email attachments, which I can then open and
scan with Convenient OCR, much more efficient. Never have to worry about
running out of paper or ink while on vacation, paper jams, etc.

Regards,

Humberto

Hello,

It has been quite some time, but I used to use myfax.com, and I know of
others that use efax. These services are via subscription, around 9.95, I
think, and I had no problems using myfax back in the day.

Is there a fax sending program or internet site that is jaws friendly? I
need to send a fax tonight. I really do not want to have someone take me in
the storm to Staples a few miles away.
