Hi Loy/all,
For one, I usually turn jaws speech off. The answer is that a blind person
can work through a Braille display which in my view, has tremendous
advantages, both for checking spelling etc, and also for being able to work
while listening to music, my vice.
Hope this makes the setting clear to you.
                        Gr eetings from Greece,
                        T akis

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Curious about a setting in JAWS

Came across a setting in JAWS and am curious why there is such a setting.
"Run JAWS without Speech"
How could a blind person run JAWS without Speech?
