Hi Jeff,

You can try the following to see if this will do what you want:
1. Open the Settings Center while you have the browser you want to work with
open. Insert / Jaws key + 6, on the number row above the main keyboard is
the keystroke.

2. Arrow down to, Text Processing, & right arrow to open. Down arrow to,
General, right arrow to open.

3. Arrow down &, the 3 settings you want to look at are the 14th, 15th, &
16th. On each of these settings tab 1 time to have Jaws read the
description of each of these settings read to you. They are:
14: Say Item State First

15: Say Window Type First

16: Say Window State First

If you make any changes tab to apply, press the spacebar, tab to, Okay,
press enter to save & Close.

Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to switch placement of announcement of controls in
a browser

I've just switched from using Window-Eyes to Jaws. When using a
browser on the internet I'd like to have controls like link, button,
etc spoken after the associated text instead of before. Can someone
give me the steps to do this?
Thanks,
Jeff
