Hi Carla, There is a free program called ExpressRip that will let you rip a CD into mp3 or wave format. You can also choose what bit rate to use for mp3's all the way up to 320 KB. It will go online to the CDDB database and find the artist and track info of the CD's. I'm not sure if this is what you used or not, but it's a really nice program considering that it's free. Jack

It was very jaws friendly. I don't remember which one it was. I thought it was win amp, but maybe not. Here's what it did. I opened the c d drive, dropped in a c d. It came up with a menu of save disk to hardrive, play or whatever. When I would select save to hard drive. It would then, look and give me choices on the album title, artist, year, etc. Now when I drop in a c d, I only get the choices to use windows media player and that is not the program I used before. I've tried using the win amp, express burn and no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or an answer. thanks so much, Carla Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To post to this group, send email to jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To post to this group, send email to jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
