Mitch, Thanks. I went into properties for Jaws 2018 and deleted the hot key I had set. I then exited out of properties and then reopened it and set the hot key to control+alt+9. I then exited out of properties. The hot key worked then twice in a row afterI closed Jaws down. I shut down the computer and restarted it and the hot key still worked the first time I tried it. Let's hope this fixed that problem. Greg
