Lucky, I reinstalled Jaws Tuesday, then Windows update ran and it
disappeared again. Did a Jaws repair, it was back, then Jaws restarted and
it is gone again, that is the list of items one can choose from, weather ...
is gone, the program is still there, but nothing to search, can enter zip
code for example but the weather and other items are gone. Everything is
up-to-date on the computer as of today.

After updating to Fall Windows Creator the Research function in Jaws 2018 no
longer has a list of places to research, type in a search term, press tab to
make a selection of the 19 items that used to be there and there are zero
items. These were there on initial installation of Jaws 2018, however, once
Jaws restarted the list is gone.

Running Windows 10 Fall update, Jaws 2018 latest build, numbering sequence
has too many points and numbers to recall but it is the latest. I do not
wish to reinstall Jaws every time I wish to see something I have been able
to use in the past, and which still works in Jaws 18, or did before disk
drive decided not to function.

Ed, not sure, but I will closely monitor the issue and see if it happens
again and try and remember what happened during the prior shutdown.

Hi John,
Do you think a Windows update change this or was it something else? Just
curious.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Starting Jaws automatically was turn off

Hi All,

I have two desktop computers running the latest Jaws 2018 and Windows 10. I
believe this happened since laste week some time. Both of my Jaws had the
automatically start Jaws at the log on screen uncheck. I had to go back into
both computers and re check this in the Jaws setup. Has anyone else had this
issue lately?

Mr. Ed
