I'm sorry. What happened to the "control userpasswords2" command?

Is this not available on your computer?

In case it is, the command is to user your run dialog box and type in the following without the quotes:

"control userpasswords2" and press enter.

You'll find a checkbox that states, users must enter a password to use this computer.

Uncheck this box, and when you press apply, you'll be prompted to enter the username of the user that should always log on, and to type in their password. Confirm the password and press the ok button.

I'm confused as to why no one suggested this?

It's been the default command for this task for as long as I've o wned a computer.

if you are using
win 10 1709, Build 16299.125
I think microsoft removed the users do not need a password to login
I myself would like to do the same but cannot find the check box
if you are not using build 125 it's in the users profile
select your profile and look for a check box users do not need a password to
login.
sorry I cannot be of more help!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows 10 Log-in Without Password

Hi All,

I'm running Windows 10 with Jaws 16 thru 2018. How do I set-up Windows 10
so I don't have to put in a password everytime I start the computer? I
would like for it to just start, & go to the desktop. All help will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.
