You should get Adobe Reader or Acrobat to open it, or some third party programme that's independent of your browser. The PDF browser add-ons are not really ideal. Adobe has pretty nice screen-reader support built in, although if the file is really large I recommend reading with something like Qread, since Adobe takes forever to open and process large files even on a nice system.
