[JAWS-Users] Trouble with Keyboard Echo

Hi, Folks.  How do I get keyboard echo back to only echo words?  For 
some reason, when I updated to JAWS 2018.1802.7a, all I hear when I type 
are punctuations, not the words.  I'm also new to JAWS, and going 
through several menus and/or keystrokes is frustrating to say the least. 
 Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.--Matthew Chao
