However, once you activate one of the many download links, the standard installer will get downloaded to your default downloads directory. Although CCleaner used to install Avast by default, there is good news. First, using the Jaws cursor in the installer, you can uncheck the relevant box. But better still, the last three versions of CCleaner standard did not automatically install any third party software. The check box for Avast is now absent.
