Hi Candice, Try this: Unload Jaws, then re-load it with your hotkey. If this works, then the magic device is being seen by Jaws as a USB audio device, and useing it as it's default. If this is the case, then you have at least two options. 1. You can place a shortcut to Jaws in the startup folder in the start menu programs list. This option is the quickest, and easiest, if you don't have to log-in to your computer. If you need to access the log-in screen at boot-up, this option will not work. or, 2. You will need to edit the Jaws.ini file to set a sound device as the default for Jaws. Jaws will take the last audio device installed as the default in many situations. If you need to edit the file, you can find instructions on the list website,and of course the list is here to help. HTH, Richard Q. Hi, I recently purchased a Magic Jack. When I go to make a call, I hear Jaws through my phone. Is there a way to work around this, for instance, if I have Magic Jack hooked to the Usb port, and I am wanting to use my computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
