My thoughts on it are, why wouldn't there be? Since they are updating J18 anyway. Seems to be a rather minor/bare bones update to me; it's clear they want people to pay for the upgrade to 2018. Meanwhile FF Quantum has worked with nVDA almost since the beginning, though there have been improvements on both the screen-reader and Mozilla front since then.
