I have not been able to locate the specific model number yet, but here is the typical behavior that I have with my function keys. In order to perform a function wit hthe function keys I believe it is known as the media keys I have to first press the function key and then the f key that I want. If I want the f keys to perform normally then I will just press for instance to get the time JAWS key plus F12.
