Hi John,
Control + J, will jump you to the next folder with unread messages.
When you are in the folder list,you can navigate by first letter, or with 
the arrow keys.
When a folder is selected, Jaws should tell you whether there are any 
messages in that folder.

I now have many folders in my outlook express and is there a way to 
highlight the folder and a key stroke to see if there is any mail with out 
tabbing in to the folder??
