Hi, David, Funny thing. The version of Windows media Player I have does this just fine. I use Version 11 with Windows XP. The hot key for this is control+shift+g. It takes it up about half again as fast, so it is not incomprehensible. To get it back to normal speed, it is control+shift+n. Alternatively, if you have this, programs such as Kurzweil 1000 can play audio files such as mp3 files. I'm not sure about audio CD's. Erin
