People have had problems re-establishing IE as their default browser after they've uninstalled Firefox for whatever reason, sometimes because it wouldn't play with sites requiring ActiveX controls, for example, after having made FF their default browser and forgotten to unmake it before they uninstalled FF. That's why I recommended caution before deciding on the default. IE7 is, if you like the RSS capability in it, tons superior to any browser thing that has come before. Firefox is faster, without doubt.
