Hi, Donald, I'm sort of ashamed to say that I don't know for sure. I got JAWS 9 only a few months ago and am still getting used to it. :) So here's the answer of a slow learner.
Press insert+f2 to get to the list of JAWS managers. Go into either the first or second one, , which is adjust JAWS options. This will take you into a treeview. Arrow down until you get to "editing options" which is on the first level of the treeview. Press right arrow to open this. You will come to a list of options and one should be "caps indicate".
