Hi, don't worry, your computer isn't doing something alien like! It's doing what XP does by default. By default, XP puts frequently used programs and shortcuts in your Start Menu for quicker access. Hi all. I have something odd happening, or maybe it's not quite so odd. Last week when I did my computer maintenance the disk cleanup and disk defragmenbtor stayed in the start menu. Is it ok to use it this way. Could I simply select it from the start menu when I want to run it again in a few weeks? I saw no mention of this. Is it normal for a computer to do this without being instructed to do so?
