Hi lisa, As far as computers go, you maybe aware that the only thing a computer reads is binary code, or zeroes and ones. A bit is either a 0 or a 1. a 32 bit processor can accept 32 bits per binary sequence, and a 64 bit processor can accept 64 bits per sequence. An example of binary code could be, if you had a 16 bit processor, and you typed the number 256 into the machine, to the CPU, it would read like this. 0000000100000000.
