It depends on what program you're using to zip up the files. I would personally recommend 7Zip, because it's very easy to use. But in any case, with all the programs I've seen, there should be a shortcut in the file menu that says add to archive. You should copy all the files you want to zip up into a folder, then go into the file menu and look for that. Then you should be able to make a zip folder with the same name and you won't have to change anything.
