Hi, Ok, now we have the problem figured. It looks as if the shortcut m is still there for Mute Synthesizer. Try the following, to change or delete it: 1. If you're using a desktop, open the keyboard manager with JAWSKey-8. 2. Press Ctrl-shift-D to open the default .jkm. 3. Press the letters Mu [unspaced] to bring you to the "mute synthesizer" option. 4. Now press alt, and right-arrow into the Actions menu. 5. Now, up-arrow to either "modify" or "delete". Enter on the one you want. 6. If you chose modify, tab over to the edit field, and type in your new key. 7. Tab to ok and enter. You will now be asked to confirm, and enter if you're satisfied. When I caused the problem, I was on the keyboard manager under the default file mute synthesizer and I accidently typed in the wrong shortcut key and then deleted it so I could type in the right shortcut key and this was the beginning of my problem.
