Oops, sorry for previous blank message. Sometimes Gmail makes things more cumbersome than they must. One problem you might be experiencing with activating links is that JAWS seems to need to be past the http:// in any address that isn't properly tagged as a link in order to send that link to a browser. On the troublesome link, arrow to any part of the link past the http:// and press enter. See if that doesn't get you where you wanna be.
