I have had a similar problem when trying to reply with control R. JAWS says, "no links" and will not let me reply. I've found that sometimes if I close and reopen outlook express it will then work. After that, there is no sound when I try to read or write or arrow up and down, absolutely nothing. The only thing I can do at that point is to copy and paste the senders email address into a new message and reply that way. This seems to only happen in certain emails.
