NVDA, which stands for Non Visual Desktop Access, is a free, open source
screen reader that works better than Narrator for troubleshooting problems
when JAWS crashes or goes silent. It has a number of different Sapi 4 and 5
voices to choose from including Eloquence, so the speech quality is superior

someone mentioned this screen reader in regard to the problem Victor has,
could some one tell me what NVDA is?
I'm interested as I often use narrator if jaws crashes but find it more
frustrating as often it wont help to reboot or whatever I need to find
out.
