But what if my authorisation number doesn't yet have the upgrade allowance?
I doubt i'll be able to authorise jaws 10 without it. My copy of jaws 8 is
installed on xp home, and i'm going to install jaws 10 on vista home premium
once i've purchased the upgrade.

No. If you get jaws 10 you will not need to do anything to jaws 8. Just
download 10 and install it. Make sure that you follow authorization
prompt.

I've just bought a new laptop yesterday running windows vista home
premium. I've still got my copy of jaws 8, however it's build 423 on the
diskI believe, and the authorisation number will not work under vista. If
I purchase the upgrade for jaws 10 from my dealer, will I have to
download the final jaws 8 installation file, install that and then
install the 10 upgrade? Also, if I want to download 10 rather than wait
for the CD, how long after I order the upgrade will it be applied to my
authorisation?
