Hi, I'm not sure if the virus will spread to the PC, but I do know a way to scan it. Here are some steps. 1. Go to the Start Menu. 2. Go to my Computer. 3. Go to the name of your flash drive. 4. Press the applications key. 5. Down or up arrow until you get to scan for viruses. Hope this helps, Janelle
