After reading through all of the postings to this thread, I am guessing
you are on dial-up Internet service. If so, it sounds to me like you are
only hearing bits and pieces of the program because dial-up simply does
not do well receiving streaming audio online. The bandwidth is probably
way too high. By pressing control P you are probably telling it to play
just what it has received so far.

I am in media player and jaws says media player default view and I have
downloaded mp3 which keeps shutting off the voice every time I try to

control p for play goes for a second and stops...do you know how to
correct
