Hi, If you select "Direct sound output" as your driver (control p for Winamp preferences,, o until you hear output, and tab through the dialog), you can get better independent control of volumes. In other words, this separates your Jaws and Winamp playback volumes so that what you do in Winamp does not affect JFW's volume level. You can always boost the Winamp volume in the EQ with ~ and decrease it again with the tab key, assuming the EQ is active (toggle the EQ's on/off state with n from the EQ window, alt plus g to toggle the EQ window open or closed). Control plus tab will cycle among open Winamp windows. I hope this helps a bit.
