Just pick the windows theme and all sounds should go back to normal. Would check through them and make sure.

Seems all the windows sounds got set to none somehow for some strange reason. Short of going through every windows sound is there anything I can do to get all the window sounds assigned quicker back to there defaults.

  go into the control panel, sound, and see if any sounds are set for
  tasks. The themes maybe set for none, witch would give you no extra sounds.
