For that, there are now two alternative solutions.
One is to use the WebVisum extension with Firefox, and only with Firefox,
from www.webvisum.com/ and you can request an invitation from there to be
sent to your valid email address so that you can sign up, verifying that you
are a legitimate user. It has keystrokes for various things - such as
ctrl-alt-6 for acquiring the CAPTCHA image and then sending it to WebVisum
for analysis. the solution is then copied to your clipboard so that you can
paste it into the edit box.
the ssecond alternative now, for any browser - since it is 100% human - is
to use the Solona CAPTCHA serbvice, from www.solona.net/ and you then
registerer. Read and note the instructions, which seem complex but are not
really. It's alll explained there at www.solona.net and the links such as
"learn" and "how it works". Each of these solutions has its pros and cons.
When WebVisum can work, for the less complex CAPTCHAs, it's faster. Human
intervention is necessary, however, for the more complex images that are now
appearing with more frequency. Happily, apart from being confounded by
CAPTCHAs in themselves, JAWS will read the solutions.

as being understood from the subject line, i would like to ask how i can
enter the security codes in yahoo chat rooms to the edit box, since Jaws
cant recognize it, and as long as i dont enter, the code, i cant log in the
room.
