Hi all. I don't know if I can explain this right, but i'll give it a shot. I know where the normal contacts folder is, and i've deleted entries in it when I didn't want them. but when I'm opening a new message and begin an address, sometimes it will say an address I no longer have in the contacts folder, but is still somewhere on my compuer. I'll give you an example. Say I deleted j...@msn.com But when I start typing the letter J, Jon's address comes up. It's got nothing to do with my history or favorites or anything, so can anyone help me? I'd appreciate it. I'm using windows sixty four bit, windows mail, if that's any help.

You should be able to turn off Auto Forms Mode in Configuration Manager for those applications. If you do not know exactly how to do this, I can give you detailed instructions.

The only issue I have with auto forms mode, which is actually quite
strange, is when I'm using winamp, or sometimes firefox, and then I
alt-tab to a conversation I'm having in aim, forms mode goes on and I
can't type in the aim window. The only solution I've found to fix that
is to close the conversation window, then re-open it again, which is a
pain. But other than that, I think it's a nice feature, and I wouldn't
want to see it taken away either. And if anybody has any suggestions
to resolve the problem I have with it, that would be great too.

Because when you are justmoving through a page, you end up in forms mode
accidently, and you type in the fields without meaning to especially when you are using the alpha keys. The fix is to simply set the forms mode to one or two seconds. Then, you should be able to move your hands fast enough
so that it isn't a problem. All and all it's a good fearute if employed
correctly. I would not want to see the option taken away.

Hi everyone,

Why do some of you dislike using auto forms mode?

Just curious.
