Josh,

I looked at a few external num pads a couple of years ago, among which
was a Targus PAKP004E. I looked at it with JAWS 6.2 and 8, and found all
keystrokes worked seem okay except for those that involve NumPad 5,
which did nothing. The num pad came with a BTC compact keyboard and had
two extra keys - BackSpace in the top right corner and 000 between
Insert and Delete. It also had a USB connection and two USB ports in the
back. Those details may help you work out if you have the same model.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] EXTERNAL NUM PAD COMPATIBLE WITH JAWS ?

Hello all I was wondering if a external num pad made by Targus is
cmpatible with JAWS? I don't have the laptop at this point in time but
will be receiving it in a few days. I also want to note that I was told
it said on the package that it said plug and play I don't know if that
will make a difference or not. Thank you in advance for any help offered
on the matter.
