It's doable, but it will require use of the Jaws cursor.
1. right-click on the Avast icon in the system tray.
2. Click On-access protection Control
3. Use the Jaws cursor to select Internet Mail.
4. Tab and activate the Details button.
5. Tab and activate the Customize button.
6. Use the Jaws cursor to select the SMTP tab.
7. Enable the "Insert a note into a clean message" check box.
8. Tab and select the OK button on this window and the next window.
9. All done.

Hi all I am trying to find out how to get the email scanner in avast to
tell me when it checks a message, like when I send a message to the list
shouldn't it tell me the message was checked by Avast when I go back and
look at the message after it has posted to the list. can some one help me
with this please and thanks
