Hi, trying 64 bit Windows. Most 32 bit programs work on 64 bit Windows, with exceptions, like JAWS itself and ay other software that use low level drivers, such as antivirus. Microsoft has their free security essentials available for both 32 and 64 bit systems. Don't know of a registry editor off hand (Windows 7, like its predecessors has one built in, regedit.). Hope this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] utilities

As soon as windows 7 is commercially released I plan to build a new 64 bit machine.

What utilities such as anti virus, anti spyware, anti malware, registry editors, etc programs are people using successfully with jaws?

At work I'm forced to use Norton and it hogs resources.

Thanx,

John Carty
