Hi,

Miranda is an open source instant messenger program that can connect to several things, including msn, yahoo, aim and jabber. It can connect to others too, but those are the standard ones. Normally it lives in your system tray and will not bring up any windows unless told to (this includes your contact list and any new messages). It works well with jaws, but you need to get things like sounds manually. Their site is miranda-im.org.

HTH!

by definition, not smart enough to debug it." - Brian W. Kernighan

Subject: [JAWS-Users] question

Hi,
What is this miranda I keep seing on messages?
I googled it and I don't think the results are anything I think it should be? Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. - Mark Twain
