I have spoken to Freedom Scientific's Tech Support this morning and they
were able reproduce my Insert + Escape keystroke problem and have confirmed
that it is a bug with Jaws 10.0.xxxx, but the problem has been corrected in
version11.0.xxxx. I can now cancel my appointment with Doctor Phil, well
reschedule anyway! LOL Thank you all very much for your help and patience

I just downloaded & installed Jaws 10.0.1154 & the insert + escape
keystroke
does not put the voice rate back to its default speed in this version
either. Insert + escape twice quickly does not work either. Any ideas on
what might be causing this particular keystroke not to function correctly?

You indicated that your jaws version is 10.1151 if I remember correctly.
My
version is 10.1154, maybe that's the problem. Version eleven must have
been
fixed.
