Did you have this problem in JAWS10? If you didn't, that could be a sign of something not right in your JAWS11? As i said, for me the site works fine in JAWS11; all fields are or appear visible. let's see if others contribute comments or what they find.

Hello Flor,

Yes, I in fact did have autoforms disabled, but even with enabling it, I'm still not getting the combo box, edit field or button in Firefox. I even restarted the browser just to be sure as well as running it in safe mode to
disable all add ons and I get the same result.

Like I said, visiting the same page in IE works perfectly well for me. Off the top of my head, I can't recall of another page that has this discrepancy
between browsers either. Who knows...

Oh, also, regarding the rss thing you mentioned, I cant' say I've had
problems with ever subscribing to them via firefox myself. I do however find that sometimes clicking the print link on a page in order for something to display on one single page instead of having to click various sequential numbers doesn't work in Mozilla. Again, when doing it in IE, it works fine.

Anyway, I guess that's besides the point of my original post.

Thanks,
Cristobal

Again, this was my problem in JAWS10 (because I disabled AutoForms
Mode). Edits that worked fine with JAWS9 and firefox, in the
pre-AutoForms Mode times, no longer worked in JAWS10: and, to complicate matters, most of the JAWS users who chose to disable AutoForms Mode were not affected at all. Just a bit of history on this rainy night. JAWS11
is working well for me, in Windows XP; and I did a merge from JAWS10
without problems (and the aforetreated settings have been maintained).

I just visited this web page using JAWS 9 and Firefox 3.5.5, and had
no difficulty accessing the library catalog search edit field or combo
box. Maybe the problem you are experiencing is caused by JAWS 11,
which seems to be full of bugs.

Hello list,

I've been having difficulty with a certain webpage and its'
accessibility
when viewing it through Mozilla Firefox. I was going to write FS tech
support about it, but before I did, I thought I'd ask others on the
list if
they could have a crack at it and see if they're able to have better
success
than me.

It's pretty straight forward. The web address is:
http://www.rcpl.lib.ca.us/

It's the url to my local public library. When I visit it in IE8,
there's a
combo box and edit field where one can exicute a search either by
title or
author. However, when viewing the same page in Firefox, the combo box
and
edit field aren't present at all. I've fiddled around with my various Firefox add ons to make sure none of them were blocking anything that
might
impeed the site from displaying properly, but the form fields still
don't
appear.

I'm using JFW 11 and Firefox 3.55 and IE8.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Cristobal
