I can attest to that. I currently run the full version of jaws 10 alongside jaws 11 demo. It isn't tied to jaws 11 and does not have any time limit.

The interpretation I took of what they said is that effectively FS Reader is now freely available with jaws 11 demo and is no longer a commercial product for sale. However I can quit Jaws and run something like NVDA and the new FS Reader still works absolutely fine so it does not appear to be linked to any version of Jaws. The easiest thing is to download the demo and try it out. The very strong impression I got from the podcast is that FS Reader will not expire after 40 minutes. Simply install the jaws 11 . Run your existing Jaws 10 software and then run the new FS Reader 2.0 software from the icon installed on your desktop.
