I personally have been using it since the thing first hit the ground and
although some times controls get a bit mixed around I have always enjoyed
the fact that tandem allows me to help people quicker, more effectively
along with giving me the ability to accomplish things that other wise I
would have never been able to attempt on another person's computer. Add to
that the fact that by getting things done faster gives me more time with my
family. When I first heard the pod cast I thought move over sliced bread
tandem is in town.

The way it works, is that whoever is the Controller (Get Access to a
Computer), must be a properly authorized license and you must be using a
version that is as high or higher than the version of JAWS being used on the
Target machine (Allow Access to my Computer). So if you are using version
10, you could not be the Controller in a Tandem session with a user who is
running JAWS 11.

The Target user can be using a proper license or in this case, could also be
running in 40 Minute Demo mode. The Tandem session will expire when the 40
minutes expires of course. The Controller machine may not be a 40 Minute
Demo.

In the case described as a major problem by the user on the list, there is
something else going on which we will be happy to discuss with him when he
contacts us. There really is not a problem at all.

Kind regards,
Eric

Please write me or FS Tech support off list and tell me your serial
number or the serial number of the user you are connecting to. I pretty
certain that one of you do not have a proper JAWS license installed.

Eric Damery

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Major problem with Tandem Centre

Hello all,
I'm surprised no one has told us this yet, however since Tuesday I have
noticed that I can log onto somebody else's machine fine, but after
about 60 seconds it logs itself off.
Does FS know about this? Also have any of you had this trouble?
Going to ring my dealer Monday for something else but will also make
them aware.
Thanks. Chris.
