That happens to me, started a few weeks ago. It doesn't happen on my work
computer under XP but on this one under Vista. The other thing that happens
is Jaws goes dead except for an utterance just as the computer goes down
when I press and hold the power button.
This is Jaws 9.
If I was Han Solo I'd probably pet my wookie

I run into this problem every day after I have browsed through my list of
RSS feeds using the feed reader in IE 8. The progress bar slowly reaches
about 38% and then I get the dreaded "Internet Explorer cannot display
the web page" error. There is apparently no fix for this problem that I
am aware of other than rebooting , which always restores page loading to
normal. Sometimes, hitting Enter on the problem link again and then
repeatedly pressing Alt-right arrow and Alt-left arrow gets the page to
load, but not always.

Hi Everyone,
I think someone had this problem recently also but not sure what the fix
was. When trying to use IE it goes to about 30% and then I get a page
can not be displayed.
a.. You are not connected to the Internet.
a.. The website is encountering problems.
a.. There might be a typing error in the address. But I am still getting
e mail and my Anti Virus is still able to update. I think it maybe have
been a setting that needed to be changed but can not remember. I am
using Jaws 10 and XP home. Thanks for any assistance. Bob
