Because system focus wil have changed. In previous versions of JAWS, a user
could not know when Windows has changed focus, but now it announces this
information for the benefit of the user.
If this happens, simply press ALT+TAB to move focus to the first active
window or press Windows+M to move to the desktop.

Hi there, I have a question for a person on another list. She is
wanting to know what would cause Jaws and the version she is using by the
way is version 11, what would cause it to lose focus? Any help would be
